At 13 yrs old, I began working at my father’s phone store and It was such a great experience learning how to run the business and sell products to new customers. His business was what gave me the opportunity to afford to go to school and gain work experience + skills.

Unfortunately, things took a turn. He struggled keeping his small business afloat and eventually shut it down. When I asked why, his reasons were just as common as most entrepreneurs I interviewed recently.
